The 6" San Ramon is a German-made Meindl climber with a steel toe and Hoffman's dual steel shank system. It's stiff where it needs to be and lighter than a tall boot.
These are made by Hoffman Boots in partnership with Meindl. I carry them because they're boots I trust and would wear myself.
